Athletic Director
Bob Swanson was appointed District 41 Director of Athletics in July of 1998. A native of Monmouth, Illinois, Bob received his Bachelors Degree in Communications/ Political Science and his Masters Degree in Communications from Western Illinois University. In 1985 he received his Juris Doctorate Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Northern Illinois University College of Law. He has a background in teaching, coaching, business, management, and law. Bob was selected Division 4 "Athletic Director of the Year" for 2006-2007 by the Illinois Athletic Directors Association. As Athletic Director, Mr. Swanson supervises all athletic teams, coaches, equipment, and facilities. He is also responsible for student-athlete academic programs including our supervised athletic study table and weekly and semester IHSA student academic eligibility checks.
