Musical Instruments
The choir room at the High School is sporting a new pre-owned piano. The Everett was over 100 years old and could not hold a tune. Repairs would cost more than a new piano. The new Baldwin was purchased for exactly the price of funds raised. Thank you to all the donors. A dedication was held on October 27 with Dr Anderson accepting the gift from RIMA.

Washington Jr. High choir room has also acquired a piano to replace its old one. Parents who heard Mr. Martin's need were able to donate a nice-as-new piano from their home. Thank you to this family.

Musical instruments are a need in all areas of music. If you have a trombone or violin or any other instrument around your home that is in good working condition, please contact the appropriate teacher at your school.

By-Laws will change ...
A special meeting was held January 30, 2007 at 7 pm in the high school library. A new set of By-Laws were discussed and approved. They will go into effect June 1, 2007.
