Reading
Of the 124(223) grades 1-6 (Kindergarten will be included in January and May results.) at-risk students scoring ≥below≈ grade level on the August 2007 Developmental Reading Assessment (DRA), 85% of those students, or 105, will increase their score ranking to ≥Meets≈ or ≥Exceeds≈ when tested with the DRA in May 2008. (The August 2007 percent of students performing at grade level on the DRA was 44%.)

Math
Of the 175/227 grades 1-6 at risk students scoring below grade level in number concepts on the SuccessMaker math software assessment during the September 2007 baseline assessment, 85% of those students or 149 students will increase their score to grade level by the May 2008 SuccessMaker assessment. (The September 2007 percent of students performing at grade level on the SuccessMaker assessment was 23%.)

Writing
Of the 127/193 grades 2-6 at risk students scoring a 3 or below (Below Standard or Not Meeting) in the areas of Writing Support and Organization during the November 2007 baseline assessment, 85% of those students or 108 will increase their scores to a 4 or better (Meets or Exceeds) in the area of Support and Organization by the May 2008 Writing Sample. (The November 2007 percent of students performing at grade level on the Fall Writing Sample was 34%.)
